Description: Two graphite drawings by English Mormon artist Frederick Piercy, documenting his journey to Utah in 1853. One drawing drawing shows the "Camp at Wood River" in present-day Nebraska. It is a variant or study for the watercolor painting of the same name also in MHS Collections. It was reproduced as a print in Piercy's "Route from Liverpool to Great Salt Lake Valley," published in 1855.
