Title: World War I Army Issue Overcoat of Alfred H. Rennekamp

Description: World War I olive drab wool army overcoat. Long coat features a black collar and a "US" stamp inside the back on the lining. The coat was produced by A. B. Kirschbaum on a government contract during World War I. However, enlisted men were not issued overcoats as part of their uniform. It is possible that Alfred Rennekamp picked up this coat after the war as Army surplus for personal use.
