Title: Chinese Table from the 1904 World's Fair

Description: Wooden Chinese table carved and inset with mother of pearl inlay. The 1904 World's Fair was the first World's Fair with a Chinese presence. This table can be seen in a photograph of the Chinese exhibit in the Palace of Manufactures at the 1904 World's Fair. It was purchased by Jacob Althaus at, or after, the fair.
