Title: Empire Style Dining Chair

Description: Empire style green painted fancy chair with upholstered seat and arms. One of a set of two. According to family tradition they were bought from estate of Charles Delassus, the last Spanish governor of Upper Louisiana. They closely resemble the work of the Finlay brothers from Baltimore. The upholstered arms are very unusual.
