Title: Oil Painting of Charles Lindbergh Bailing Out of a Plane

Description: Oil painting on acrylic depicts an actual event in Lindbergh's airmail days. Lindbergh was delivering the mail to Chicago September 16, 1926 and at 8:20 PM he was unable to descend due to fog. His fuel was running out so he jumped out of the plane. The loss of weight caused the plane to pitch forward, gain a little residual fuel and began spiraling, at times coming very close to Lindbergh and his chute.
