Dear Father I sit down to write you a few lines to let you know that I am well at present and I hope that your are the same we have just arrived her to day we have bin gone two weeks we went to Heartvill[Hartville] it was 35 miles to it to us 3 days Heartvill[Hartville] is in wright Co. Mo we will be in St. Louis if nothing happens I would have wrote sooner if there had bin any from Heartvill[Hartville] I have herd from Mr Bratcher to day and he is some beter he will get well I think I want you to let me know in the answer to this letter whether Roberts is a living in Harmony or not so no more at present your son
