Dear Capt


I embrace this opportunity to write you a few lines to let you know how I am getting I am able to be up and about I think I will Soon be able to go to my company Soon we have wrote to you three letters before this one Sim Golden and Christerfer[Christopher] has Died Since you left me and Ben is hear yet we want you to come or send often us immediately for we dont want to be Sent out to any of these baraks to Stay we have not heard from you Since you was hear we have almost come to the conclusion that you have forgotten us they Say that we cant get off from hear without you reciept for us unless one of our commishoned officers comes often us So we want you to Send or come as Soon as you can I want you to write to me as Soon as you get this letter and dont fail for we want to know where you are yours with respect
