Title: Four Courts Building. Clark and Eleventh.

Description:

Horizontal, black and white photograph of a four story stone building with hip and domed roof with dormer windows. Arched and triangular pediments are above each window on the third level and the second level has arched windows with the central windows framed by Corinthian columns and a triangular pediment above on the side wings of the building. A brick paved road runs in front of the building.

Typing on the front of the photograph reads "Four Courts, Jail, Morgue, etc., built 1871 Dr. Wm. G. Swekosky. City Block bounded by 11th st., 12th Spruce, & Clark, the Henry Chouteau Mansion was on this site."
