Title: Election in Baltimore, November, 1862. (Plate 9).

Description: Print of a large group of men near a building that has a poster on it that reads "PROCLAMATION Gen DIX." Several men in the crowd are holding tickets. There are two signs being held that read "HAIL COLUMBIA HAPPY LAND !!" and "UNION or nothing." The lithograph was one of twenty pro-Confederate political cartoons printed by Adalbert J. Volck in 1864 and published under the pseudonym V. Blada as "V. Blada's War Sketches."
