Title: Scene in Stonewall Jackson's Camp. (Plate 24).

Description: Print of several soldiers in a camp. A few of the figures are kneeling while Gen. Jackson, who is on the left side of the print, is leading the soldiers in a prayer. There are tents and a Confederate flag in the background. Handwritten on back: "Scene in Stonewall Jackson's Camp." The etching was one of ten pro-Confederate political cartoons drawn by Adalbert J. Volck in 1863 and published under the pseudonym V. Blada as "Sketches from the Civil War in North America." The initial edition of the cartoons was distributed to subscribers and was limited to 200 copies. Alternate title for this print is "'Prayer in 'Stonewall' Jackson's Camp."
