Title: William E. Bradford residence, 3501 Pine Street.

Horizontal, black and white photograph showing the front of the William E. Bradford residence at 3501 Pine Street. The home is two-stories and constructed of either brick or stone. A column of stone blocks decorate both front corners, and a column of bay windows juts from the side of the house. The house is on the corner of the street, and the yard is enclosed by a low, wrought-iron fence. A tree and light-post block the house near the center of the photograph.

The house was built by William E. Bradford, a hat and cap manufacturer, in 1878. In 1959, the house was sold to the Land Clearance Authority. For biographical sketches of the owners of the building, including William E. and Emma V. Bradford; Silas H. H. and Annie M. Clark; Edward and Ellen Butler; and Nick Uvizel, see the back of the photograph and the associated manuscript 5426 (SNDC 3-01-0035M). Biographical information written by Dr. William Swekosky.
