Title: Beck, George Residence. 3319 Pine.

Horizontal, black and white photograph showing the George Beck residence at 3319 Pine. The home appears to be abandoned, as the windows are broken or missing and paint on the front of the building is flaking. There is a large "Keep Out" sign on the front door.

A handwritten note from Dr. William Swekosky on the back of the print reads: "Beck residence / Pine St". The house was built in 1873 by George Beck's father, Henry W. Beck. George was two years old when the family moved in, and he lived in the house through at least 1944. For additional information regarding the neighborhood, as well as brief biographical information regarding the Beck family, see associated manuscript 5389 (SNDC 3-01-0010M).
