Title: Fort Laramie.

Description: Horizontal sepia photograph of complex of buildings in the middle of an open plain. Closer in the foreground is a man seated on a horse and holding the reigns of another horse. The land is flat and bare. There are some hills in the far off distance on the horizon line. Under the print "Scenes in the Indian Country" is printed on the matt. Directly beneath that "Fort Laramie" is hand-written in black ink. It also appears in dark pencil in the lower right corner directly underneath the print and again, more faintly, in the bottom right corner of the matt.. On the far left a "44" is written in black ink. In the lower right corner a "72" is faintly written in pencil. "Old Bedlam Bldg" is handwritten in black ink with an arrow pointing up beneath the print slightly left of center.
