Title: Olive Street looking west from Twelfth Street after widening.

Description: Horizontal, sepia photograph showing Olive Street looking west from 12th Street after widening of Olive was completed in 1928. Tall, commercial buildings line both sides of the street, including the Park Hotel and the St. Louis Star "want ads" office. A large billboard at the street-corner advertises the St. Louis Union Trust Co. Vehicle traffic includes both cars and horse-drawn carts and wagons, and there are street-car tracks in the new street. Pedestrians can also be seen.
