This sub-series is found in the VHS, Beta (Betamax, Betacam, Betacam SP), ¾ Inch (U-Matic), 1 Inch, and VHS-C series. Congressional Campaigns, (1976-2002): Arranged chronologically, this sub-series features finished versions of Gephardt congressional campaign advertisements, raw footage, film transfers, and production elements. This sub-series is included in the VHS, Beta (Betamax, Betacam, Betacam SP), ¾ Inch (U-Matic), 1 Inch, and 16mm Film series. Robert Shrum File Tapes, (1987-2000): Robert Shrum, political strategist, campaign adviser, and speech writer for the Democratic Party, worked with Gephardt on his Presidential and Congressional campaigns. This sub-series comprises raw footage, film transfers, and production elements on both the Presidential and Congressional Campaigns. The File Tapes also contain a number of speeches, interviews, finished commercials, and a significant amount of footage from the 1993 Flood. It is found in the VHS, Beta (Betamax, Betacam, Betacam SP), and 1 Inch series. Opponents, (1990-2000): The Opponents sub-series is arranged chronologically and contain off-air campaigns advertisements, announcements, speeches and press conferences of congressional opponents recorded by Gephardt staff and volunteers. The sub-series exists only in the VHS series. Forums, Speeches, Press Conferences, (1978-2000): This sub-series features speeches, public forums, and press conferences recorded by Gephardt staff or sponsoring organizations. All tapes are arranged chronologically. The sub-series also contains Presidential and Congressional campaigns, fundraisers, walking tours, parades, and Gephardt campaigning on behalf of other candidates. It is found in the VHS, Beta (Betamax, Betacam, Betacam SP), ¾ Inch (U-Matic), 1 Inch, 2 Inch, VHS-C, and Miscellaneous MiniDV series. Informational, (1977-2004): This sub-series, arranged chronologically, holds "Infomercials" about social programs and union activity as well as foreign and domestic issues. The sub-series also has campaign ads for various state propositions, demo reels from perspective advertising agencies, and demo reels from entertainers. It is found in the VHS, Beta (Betamax, Betacam, Betacam SP), ¾ Inch (U-Matic), 1 Inch, and 16mm Film series. Other, (1979-2004): This sub-series contains appearances by Gephardt as a guest on the programs of other Democratic representatives and a guest appearance on the NBC show "Lateline." All items are arranged chronologically. This sub-series also has family videos, family slide shows, taped tributes to Gephardt, and Public Service Announcements featuring organizations with ties to Gephardt and his office. Democratic Party, (1980-2003): The Democratic Party sub-series includes informational programming and ads created by the Democratic Party, including some production elements.
