Description: John Adam Lemp became a naturalized citizen in November 1841. He is listed as a grocer in the St. Louis city directory of 1840-41. He later founded the Lemp Brewery. Papers include family biographical material, correspondence, naturalization papers, passport, Civil War orders, muster rolls, all relating to the Lemp family.
